Sherpa Villages

Dear Sherpa community and Kiduks,

We are writing to request a brief but accurate description of your villages with photographs to be published on our We Sherpa website. Our We Sherpa website aims to promote and preserve the language, culture and traditions of the Sherpa community. Therefore, by showing our villages on this website, showcasing the beautiful and unique aspects of each village, we try to provide a comprehensive glimpse of our villages to the Sherpas and other communities.

That is why we request you to provide us with a brief description of your village including history, traditions, places worth visiting, estimated population, major festivals and celebration times and any notable attractions. Please also include photos that show the natural and historical beauty of your villages and the people there. It will work to introduce the village of each Sherpa community to the world, especially our own Sherpa communities also need to have and get such information.
